Definition: equally stupid

Pronunciation: UNA-si-nus

I spent hours looking for a clue in regard to this word’s etymology, but failed in finding it. I usually refrain from using words the origin to which is unknown, but I felt this word to bare so much potential- I couldn’t resist myself!

If you manage finding the etymology for this one- please let me know.

Why this word?

I really think that the question above (which I find fitting with most words) is completely redundant with a word meaning “equally stupid”; I mean, what can be better than this definition? So many things in life are equally stupid and finally there’s a word for it!

One of the best examples would be the ongoing debate of whether God exists or not. I believe that the question of God’s existence is completely irrelevant to the existence of religion as we know it today and thus, both sides’ claims are UNASINOUS! Yes!

Give it one single try and I promise you this word will become a steady tenant in your house of English!

How to use the word ecdysiast in a sentence?

“You and your brother are unasinous, so stop arguing on who’s more stupid than the other!”

“So who are you going to the prom with, David or John?”

-“Neither; they’re both unasinous”.
